Fiyo on the Bayou is the second studio album by the New Orleans four piece The Neville Brothers. It was released in 1981 on A&M. It also features a young Whitney Houston on backing vocals. Named #66 on Rolling Stones list of best 100 albums of the 1980s, Fiyo on the Bayou remains an under-appreciated gem.

Keith Richards, quoted by Rolling Stone, stated the Neville Brothers' Fiyo on the Bayou was the best album of 1981. With this recording, singer Aaron, keyboardist and singer Art, saxophonist Charles and percussionist Cyril, set out to capture their undisciplined sound, descended from New Orleans Mardi Gras music, while commercializing it enough to reach a broad audience.

Although never a huge commercial success, the Neville Brothers driving, raw R&B sound has had a huge influence on many well known musicians to follow, as this album clearly exhibits.
