A while back on Soulseek I stumbled upon a rip of the SACD portion of the Downward Spiral in .ac3 format. Hearing it downmixed to stereo without surround sound on Foobar2000, I was absolutely stunned at how every little element jumped out at me on each song - better than any version I had ever heard. I decided earlier today to convert the Ac3 files into WAV and then FLAC with the help of a tool called PX3Convert, so I've uploaded these excellent sounding -- STEREO -- FLACs onto Torrent Network to share this album as it was meant to be heard on the SACD. I've also included the original AC3 files that I discovered on SLSK.

and just to be clear - before anyone bitches

please hear me out: i downloaded the ac3 surround mixes from SLSK. they were labeled under a folder entitled "the downward spiral SACD surround"

these flac files i encoded today sound phenomenal. please make up your mind and hear for yourself. you'll come to find at the very beginning (mr self destruct) that every element on the music jumps right out at you.
