You can either manually replace the NitroPDF.exe and NPOCR.npp located in the install folder (C:/.../Program Files/Nitro PDF/ etc.)with the ones in the Crack folder, or you can place the Patch v6.x + 7.x.exe in the install folder then right click "Run as Administrator" on it and it will do for you what I said above you can do manually (this is what is usually done with patches). Either way the program works fine.\n
It's usually best to prevent cracked programs from "calling home" by blocking all outgoing signals from all exe files in the install folder with a firewall and not trying to update.\n

Crack works. This also fixes the constant crashing of the PDF preview program. Basically just copy the crack files into your Nitro folder in Program Files. The crack.exe is pretty useless, but I'm guessing it's there to help people who can't find their Program Files folder, or can't figure out how to copy stuff there (you'll need to have admin access to copy anything into Program Files).
