Remote procedure call (RPC) HTTP requires Outlook 2003 to be installed on Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 1 with the update in Microsoft Knowledge Base article 331320 installed. To use RPC over HTTP, Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 running on Windows Server 2003 is also required.
