Here we have a video clip from the 2008 Olympic Games from Beijing China. In particular, this is the final round of the women's beach volleyball finals. Excellent game, very close all they way to the end of the match.



Recorded from OTA HDTV, we deinterlaced the 1080i transport stream and resized the frame to 1280x720p. From there we encoded the high bitrate mpeg video to 2000kbps x264. The resulting compressed video has stunning high definition clarity with smooth motion that rivals any motion picture theater. The file size is quite reasonable for high definition resolution.



Running time approx 47min.



The audio is a direct copy of the 384kpbs DD5.1 sound track that with the original broadcast....



Playback Tips: I use BSplayer or VLC to play the show on the PC. You will need special filters to decode the AC3 and X264 to use BSplayer or WMP.
