On the Town

Three sailors - Gabey, Chip and Ozzie - let loose on a 24-hour pass in New York and the Big Apple will never be the same! Gabey falls head over heels for \\\"Miss Turnstiles of the Month\\\" (he thinks she\\\'s a high society deb when she\\\'s really a \\\'cooch dancer at Coney Island); innocent Chip gets highjacked (literally) by a lady cab driver; and Ozzie becomes the object of interest of a gorgeous anthropologist who thinks he\\\'s the perfect example of a \\\"prehistoric man\\\".

Um Dia em Nova York / On The Town (1949)



Os marinheiros Gabey (Gene Kelly), Chip (Frank Sinatra) e Ozzle (Jules Munshin) irão aproveitar a folga para passar um dia inteiro em Nova Iorque. E a cidade nunca mais será a mesma!

Cada um tem seu próprio plano de divertimento - Chip quer ver o máximo da cidade possível utilizando um antigo guia datado de 1905 que seu pai um dia lhe dera, Ozzie deseja encontrar-se com varias mulheres e Gabey, o mais sério, anseia por encontrar a mulher da sua vida.

A aventura dos nossos amigos começa realmente com a bela modelo Ivy Smith (Vera-Ellen) e diz ter encontrado a mulher de seus sonhos, arrastando seus melhores amigos a uma busca de sua paixão.

Primeiro filme do renomado diretor Stanley Donen, de \\\"Cantando na Chuva\\\", \\\"Cinderella em Paris\\\" e \\\"Dancando nas Nuvens\\\", este filme conta também com um excelente elenco, belas coreografias e uma trilha sonora de tirar o fôlego, vencedora do Oscar de 1950.
