OOglies is a stop-motion animated children's television series produced by BBC Scotland for CBBC. The Ooglies are basically household items or food – strawberries, boiled eggs, a computer mouse, a blender – with googly eyes stuck on them. Their little sketches all involve them being squashed repeatedly in gory and inventive ways, though it seems to do them no harm. They enjoy dangerous stunts and jumping off kitchen surfaces and "under no circumstances," it warns, should "children or silly adults" attempt to copy them!

When the humans are away the OOglies play! The eccentric ensemble of household pranksters sprout eyes and clown around, embarking on a series of adventures that will find them slipping, sliding and splatting onto television screens.



The Dopey Doughnut Builders bring down the house again - quite literally. Mr Magnetic loses his bearings and his temper when the Metal Balls attack, and Strongman Monkey Nut tries to raise a tune from a guitar - but will he fret when the going gets tough?
