The Ogre series is a franchise of video strategy games dating back to 1993. It's first appearance was on the SNES, under the name Ogre Battle: March of the Black Queen. The franchise is developed by the company Quest, and has been published by Enix and Atlus. The ogre series is split into two subseries to split apart the different styles of strategy gameplay; "Battle" and "Tactics".
