Synopsis:
Melodrama tinged thriller, it's exceptional Vanessa Redgrave gives life to the owner of a lonely hotel on the English coast. There she lives with her daughter (played by Susan George), a young nineteen year old temperamental rebel with whom she has a difficult relationship. The harsh winter set in the hotel between the insulation and the inclement weather, the hours consuming musical evenings and card games until Joe (the great Cliff Robertson) breaks into the lives of two women. Former lover of the character played by Redgrave, the reunion with her came after twenty years of absence.
Tension grows between the three. Out of Season undeniable step shows a strange love triangle drama whose outcome will reveal a truly shocking conclusion. Featuring a star cast, this chamber piece is based on great performances and a steady dramatic director, Alan Bridges.
