Plot: A lethal virus is transported to the United States via an

The role of Sam Daniels was originally intended for Harrison Ford



There are no known cures for viral diseases. The use of an antiserum

from a previous victim won't do anything to a currently infected

victim, other than give that person's immune system something else

to fight off. Antibodies aren't transferable to other infectees, so

the antiserum obtained from the host would not have any effect on

someone infected with a viral disease!



By definition a host organism can not produce antibodies - they would

fight the virus so that it would not be able to act as host. The

monkey can therefore be either a host or a source of anti-bodies

but not both



Despite the holes in the plot, this is quite an entertaining movie

worthy of a second run as an internal
