They say that if you set the picture of someone you like as the background on your phone and keep it hidden for three weeks, your love will come true.



It was the beginning of second semester when Ito Makoto first noticed Katsura Kotonoha from the neighbouring class. Every day, they would catch the same train on the same line, and she would read her book.



Ever since that realization, his monotonous days have become a little brighter.



It's not as though he wanted to go out with her, or even be noticed by her.

Just watching her from afar made his day feel that little bit brighter - and it's not as if he believed in that charm that everyone was talking about...



One day, the perceptive Saionji Sekai from the seat next to his catches sight of Kotonoha's picture on his phone and discovers his secret affection for her.



On top of promising not to tell anyone else, however, she suddenly becomes a source of support for him, bringing fresh color into his dull, uneventful life through her plans.



From the moment she drags the three of them into having lunch together for the first time, the barriers between Makoto and Kotonoha begin to fall, while Sekai becomes increasingly lost in thought.



On the platform at dusk, Makoto waits for Kotonoha to arrive for their first date.

Sekai passes by on the way home from school.

Grateful for her plans which had worked so well, he promises to do anything he can to thank her.



Makoto stands there on the platform, stunned.

On the train, Sekai clasps her phone, a picture of Makoto set within.

Kotonoha hurries towards the station after her student rep meeting, a cheerful expression on her face.

And so, with each bearing a different expression, the story begins.
