P. N. Elrod's my favourite paranormal read. I say it without apology. Why? She's simply better at what she does than all her contemporaries rolled together. You see, she can tell a story. Although she's written in the mystery, romance, paranormal, and historical genres with at least one foray into comedic fantasy, the Gentleman Vampire Series has enjoyed great success.
