The Parted Magic OS employs core programs of GParted and Parted to handle partitioning tasks with ease, while featuring other useful software (e.g. Partimage, TestDisk, Truecrypt, Clonezilla, G4L, SuperGrubDisk, ddrescue, etc…) and an excellent set of info to benefit the user. An extensive collection of file system tools are also included, as Parted Magic supports the following: btrfs, ext2, ext3, ext4, fat16, fat32, hfs, hfs+, jfs, linux-swap, ntfs, reiserfs, and xfs. PartedMagic requires at least a 586 processor with 1GB of RAM. 512MB in Live mode. Compatible with Secure Boot Windows 8 machines. Runs well on Intel Macs.

Florence onscreen keyboard should make it a bit easier if you don’t have a keyboard.

Xfce4 Ppower Manager seems to have solved issues related to power management on laptops and notebooks.

We added Truecrypt 7.2 as a migration tool. You really should be using Veracrypt, which is also included.

Upgrading to Linux 4.0.0 seems to have solved all of the Nvidia card issues our users were experiencing.

Fonts have been redone again and everything appears to look nice when using the web browsers.
