Periscope es el complemento perfecto para la cámara iSight de nuestro Mac; una aplicación que nos permite capturar cualquier actividad que se produzca ante ella de una forma rápida, simple y automática, siendo ideal para convertir nuestro equipo en un efectivo sistema de seguridad.

Configurar la aplicación es cuestión de tan solo unos segundos, y tras esto, podremos conseguir que que comience a capturar imágenes cuando la cámara detecte movimiento, el micrófono capte algún ruido, utilizando un temporizador o incluso a voluntad gracias al Apple Remote. Pero claro, si no estamos en casa, lo interesante es poder ver esas imágenes desde cualquier lugar por lo que Periscope permite, no solo almacenarlas en el equipo o añadirlas a iPhoto, sino también enviarlas a una cuenta de correo electrónico, FTP, .Mac o, mejor aún, subirlas a Flickr.
