A Life in Pop charts the careers of electro-pop duo the Pet Shop Boys from

the day they first met to the build up for their forthcoming new album

Fundamental.



In a rare TV interview Pet Shop Boys Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe talk about their work, their interviews, and each other.The film also follows the duo as they visit their home towns, old haunts and the places that have influenced their music over the years.The programme features a number of their songs and productions with the likes of Dusty Springfield plus contributions from Robbie Williams, David Walliams, Matt Lucas,Trevor Horn, Chris Lowe, Jake Shears (Scissor Sisters) Brandon Flowers (The Killers) Tim Rice-Oxley, photographer Bruce Weber and producer Trevor Horn.The film also includes a rare interview with Bobby Orlando – the influential dance producer that inspired them.
