This is my first stab at putting one of my designs on Ravelry. This hat is knit in the round from the bottom up starting with the ribbing and includes open cabling in the design. I made mine to fit a man’s head about 23 inches using bulky yarn. The light blue one fits a wee bit more snugly than the dark grey though I think I may have knit the dark grey with a looser gauge. I used about 90 yards of the dark grey skein. The light blue was unlabeled yarn and I don’t know the yardage for that one.

This pattern has not been test knit by others so I welcome any suggestions. I’m looking forward to seeing all the finished hats and hope they keep you and others toasty and warm as we finish this long cold winter we’ve been having.
