'Phoebe in Wonderland' is a whimsical tale of a young girl who can't seem to follow the rules. Perplexed by her inability to get along with the rule-obsessed world around her, Phoebe seeks enlightenment and comfort from her unconventional drama teacher, even as her brilliant but anguished mother (Felicity Huffman) looks to Phoebe for inspiration. This tale explores a young girl's self-discovery and her journey to find acceptance of her individuality - showing us both the dark places and beautiful, magical, touching places that make up a life's geography. A wonderful and dvierse ensemble cast of actors - including Felicity Huffman, Bill Pullman, Patricia Clarkson and Elle Fanning (Dakota Fanning’s younger sister) - tell this story of a very special child and the way her personality churns the waters within her family. To put it simply, This is a terrific movie! It's moving, funny at times and captivating in its style.
