DO THIS PROCEDURE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!Requirements: Windows XP (vista has some problems with the phoenix and patch) Phoenix software (provided here..) your phone and cable The flashing basics: -Back up your phone using pc suite and then save the backup file in a USB or somewhere you think its safe (No, not in your grandma's underpants ) -Uninstall all nokia related softwares and drivers including PC suite Go to Control Panel -> Add/Remove programs -> uninstall any programs with nokia in its name Delete all temporary files in the temporary folder Using IE, Tools -> Internet options -> delete files Go to C:Program filesCommon Files and look for the nokia folder, DELETE IT Also delete C:Program filesnokia Clean your registry using your favorite registry cleaner restart your PC... here we go Install these files in order, link is attached below 1) msxml6_x86.msi 2) vcredist_x86.exe for some, these two files above, you may have a better version so just use them, no need to install these above 3) Nokia Connectivity Cable Driver.msi 4) Nokia Flashing Cable Driver.msi 5) Nokia Service Tool Drivers.msi 6) Phoenix Service Software.msi (Version 2008 ) Don't Run it yet!!! 7) Run the Phoenix 2006 2008 patch.. its gonna say "cant find.. blah blah" but that's ok.. Install the respective RM-XXX firmware (e.g. for N95 8gb its RM-320) NOTE: make sure its for your country or else your internet connection in your phone wont connect.. Now open Phoenix VOILA! no dongle needed!!!
