notes for the audience source:
******************************
Complete performance coming from an audience aource. This particular recording ran a tad
bit slow and the pitch was a little on the flat side. I used Adobe Audition 1.5 to do
speedcorrection and pitch adjustment. Nothing else was done to this already excellent
recording.
ORIGINAL NOTES FROM FIRST SEED: Our Amougies series continues with probably the most
anticipated performance of all - Pink Floyd's. Of course, the version of "Interstellar
Overdrive" with Frank Zappa, long presumed lost, will now be familiar to most, but I'm sure
this complete set will be of high interest to Floyd fans. As previously stated, the taper
(JJB) didn't record everything, but when he did, he generally recorded complete sets. Also,
there are obvious issues with the sound quality. Firstly, the tape recorder used was way
below modern standards and the sound is nowhere near "professional" standards. Secondly,
in order to save on batteries, the taper occasionally turned the recorder off between songs,
resulting in a few truncated introductions. These reservations aside, however, this is simply
an unbelievable document of a legendary festival, and so our hearfelt thanks to the taper for
recording this at the time, and for allowing me to seed it here. I did my best to document
setlists and line-ups but some information is still missing. Please help if you can.

notes for the radio source:
***************************
This soundboard source is believed to have been broadcasted over the radio. This is the same
sounboard source as the soundtrack of the movie. You can clearly hear it from the audience noise
(e.g. a man shouting at 4s into STC on both sbd sources). Once claimed to be a live radio
broadcast, it surely isn't, simply because STC is clearly edited (you miss the whistling incident
from the audience source, and it is much shorter too). Speed and pitch were slightly adjusted
to match my corrected version of the audience source. I changed the order of the songs from the
original RoIO to match the flow of the original set, STC was originally the first track on the
ROIO. On GitC and CwtAE the left channel was boosted just a tad to even out the channels. STC had
the right channel slightly boosted as well for the same reason.

notes for the soundtrack source:
********************************
Excerpt of the 60 min soundtrack of the "Music Power" documentary about the "Festival Actuel".
This might come from a TV broadcast but the information is unconfirmed. Most probably coming from
the soundboard as well, it sounds slightly better than the radio version, with less distortions.
They sound very similar to each other and thus are probably from the same source recording. Speed
and pitch corrected to match the other two sources. This does not contain StCftHotS however.

notes for the unknown soundtrack source:
****************************************
This is confirmed to be from the documentary soundtrack, but does not appear on the above source.
Discovered very recently, our guess is that it is either an outtake of the documentary or part of
a longer theater version. Also soundboard sourced but incomplete, the whistle incident at the
beginning is edited just like on the radio version (only one whistle remains at 1:35). The crackles
you hear are more prominent than on other sources, but it's really the sound of the dripping
Belgian rain on the tent! The video of Amougies shows shots of Nick Mason completely showered.
Nothing was done to correct this version, except an overall 5dB boost to match the levels of the
rest of this disc.
Note this is the first appearance of this track in any form ever. Exclusive ;-)

Thanks to JJB, the audience taper, as well as the original seeders.
Special thank you to whomever dug back the soundboard source.

Enjoy!!!
