Poppy Z. Brite - The Crow - The Lazarus Heart

"The Crow" movie novel tie-in book by semi-famous genre author Poppy Z. Brite. The plot is the same as all the other crow iterations. Someone kills this fellow and his boyfriend this time, havoc ensues.

Has been an out-of-print collector's item for a number of years. It is unlikely it will ever be re-published since Poppy Z. Brite has retired from writing and the publisher (Harper Prism) no longer exists (it was absorbed into Avon's Eos line, then that became defunct as Avon became completely Romance books). Even if both successive publishers weren't defunct, they would no longer have "The Crow" novel rights.

So as far as I know, this is thus an orphaned work.

Some hardcore "The Crow" fans insist it's good, I always preferred Poppy Z. Brite's vampire novels though for my genre fix. Many of them were recently made available in kindle and other ebook formats quite cheaply.
