Here’s a cool utility that allows you to use a PS3 BD remote control (NOT THE CONTROLLER – the BD remote!) to control your pc via Bluetooth. None of the buttons are pre-programmed but it is very easy to map any and all the remote buttons to keyboard presses. Note that these remotes are a dime-a-dozen at 2nd hand or pawn shops.

I use it a lot for my home theater laptop and it works a treat (the great thing about bluetooth of course is that line-of-sight is not an issue). I love not having to get up off my fat ass to pause, play, adjust volume, change subtitles, etc. etc.. I’ve only tried it with Win7 but I presume it would work with other Window versions.
