Purrkur Pillnikk - Rare Icelandic albums

Icelandic new wave from this great and funny mod-punk group. Lead singer Einer Orn Benediktsson later joined Bjork in Kukl and Sugarcubes (the squeaky bloke) and then went on to other projects like Frostbite and Ghostdigital.



This was a fantastic group and in my opinion one of the best punk groups of all time, due to their rugged humour and great punk licks. For more info see

This group was also a great influence on Blur and can be considered the first of the "college radio" punk groups, that is: intelligent artists pretending to be stupid apes !
