Note: This mix was lost and found, plus now we're using iTunes instead of MediaMonkey unfortunately. Apologies if this one is way off the others since we're out of our usual element. The pX Mix concept: - Queue mixes based on a less than strict Genre idea - Blend well-known artists all the way down to the bedroom producer - Aiming at solid 320 kbps releases where we can - Correct ID3v2 tagging without all the BS ads that people stuff in - Genre-tagging less generic than Rock or Jazz. - DJ-Style Playlist. We should promote album flow. - Anti DJ-Style Fades or Breaks. If you only want one song, you probably don't want it to start with a fade out. - We analyze and level all tracks to 89 db, so cranking one track won't blow your mids on the next track. - Actually know the music. - Tried to use a new script that grabs lyrics for songs where they're found from decently reliable sites. - Constantly improve, and be open to constructive ideas to promote great music. We are in the process of writing software to acquire even more accurate tags gathered open-source databases and various APIs. The quality of future releases will improve as we our abilities do. The lack of any sort of standard makes managing our music collections more tedious than they should be. Thanks for listening and please remember to support artists however you can. The majority of labels take advantage of artists, but we can goto shows and buy merch so they actually get the money, or we can spread the word, so more have an opportunity to expand their tastes, and then, feel more inclined to support artists and local scenes directly. Big ups to the bedroom producers, the indie labels, and the torrent communities. To the seeders, the leechers, and the programmers. Respekt. Booyakasha!
