TRAMA:

Roy Powell è uno sceriffo di grande esperienza del R.I.P.D., acronimo che sta per Rest In Peace Department, ovvero il dipartimento di polizia dell'oltretomba. A Roy, specializzato nel dare la caccia alle pericolose anime che provano a rimanere sulla Terra senza trasferirsi nell'aldilà, viene assegnata la missione di rintracciare una banda di pericolosi spiriti criminali che si nasconde tra gli ignari abitanti della terra, la quale intende mettere in atto un diabolico piano per sfuggire al "giudizio finale". Per preservare la vita terrena così come la conosciamo e l'equilibrio cosmico, Roy Powell inizia una corsa contro il tempo per rintracciarli e assicurarli alla giustizia. Ad affiancarlo, c'è il recentemente deceduto Nick Walker, brillante detective sulla Terra e ora nuovo membro del R.I.P.D., il quale nel frattempo, in cerca di vendetta, intende identificare i responsabili della sua morte.

STORYLINE:

After Nick is murdered by his own partner, he joins the Rest in Peace Department to protect the world from the undeads. While working with his new partner, many undeads are seen gathering in Boston. Soon he realizes that someone close to him is behind all a plot to bring on the apocalypse.
