Steven Soderbergh's alternate edit of the original Indiana Jones adventure. It is in black & white, and the entire soundtrack is replaced by an electronic music score. No dialogue or sound effects. Soderbergh made this version to emphasize the editing and the cinematography, composition and lighting of this motion picture. The sets, stuntwork and visual effects are also noteworthy. I have added a change of my own: the 2.20:1 screen ratio of its theatrical premiere in 70mm film, and 1080p HD. Made without the cooperation of Steven Spielberg and George Lucas, and without any cooperation between Soderbergh and myself. This version of this great movie is for educational purposes only.
