Redbone - Beaded Dreams Through Turquoise Eyes (Quad 8 to DVDA DTS2496 Dolby)

Tragically Redbone is one of the most overlooked and underrated rock groups there ever has been. Most people who are familier with the group probably only
know them for their monster hit they had back in 1974 "Come And Get Your Love". There however has been so much more to the group, they did for instance
have a couple of other hit songs though not as big as "Come And Get Your Love, with their unique sound and style that was so different then just about
anything you could hear being played musically.

As for the album itself "Beaded Dreams Through Turquoise Eyes" originally came out on vinyl in 1974. It was released after Redbone's successful 5th album
"Wovoka" which contained their big hit "Come And Get Your Love". Even though there are many fans of the group who thought "Beaded Dreams" was Redbones most
commercial album that had been produced by them the album did not do well in sales and surprisingly did not produce any hit songs. I would think "Suzi Girl"
might have been the closest to a hit song from the album. I would certainly rate it one of their best songs Redbone ever did and would have been deserving to
have been a hit song for them. There are other good songs on the disc as well including another one of their best, "Cookin' With D'Redbone".
Altogether this is a must have album for us Redbone fans and certainly a must have Cd to add to any music collection.
