Fuera is an album of duets from two French musicians?double-bass master Renaud Garcia-Fons and accordianist Jean-Louis Matinier. A mixture of improvisation and arranged compositions with complex tune structures, the pair has created a celebratory music with elements of tango, jazz, Mediterranean music, late romantic classical music and more. At times they sound like a trio or a quartet. Their playing is technically superb, deep and emotional.
