This is an Advanced Reader Copy (ARC), and it is a good quality one. I read the paperback ARCs of the first two books in this series and there were no really bad errors, or missing paragraphs. ARCs are usually the draft right before the final published draft, so most of the time it is the actual book with a few missed typos. I read ARCs all the time and never have issues with them. :)

Advanced proof---does anyone know how much of a difference this version might be to the printed version?

It may contain spelling or grammatical errors, usually there are no major changes to the book. A paragraph or line may be moved sometimes but usually it's to check for errors.
