Overview :



The basic purpose of this kit is to give tech guys a all in one solution to fix a damaged or infected system. it has 13 boot options when cd boots .

Boot options explained :



1. Retestrak's Live Rescue v 0.1 :



it is live windows xp (sp2) which boots from cd (based upon UBCD4WIN) . i have slipstreamed DP_LAN_wnt5_x86-32_8121 and DP_MassStorage_wnt5_x86-32_901 in it.It has lots of recovery and virus removal tools as well as other essential tools . some of the importent ones are explained below. when it loads you completely to its desktop then click start network support , it will detect and install your network driver. if you are using wireless net then kindly use driver import pe to load drivers from your installed OS . otherwise use wlan driver pack from BTS via driver import pe to install drivers .



For Virus Removal :



* Kaspersky anti virus 7 by Mikicun (Updated till 9 march 2009)

* Antivir Personal edition (Updated till 9 march 2009)

* AVZ Antiviral Toolkit (Updated till 9 march 2009)

* EZpc fix



( all virus scanners support updating , if u use kaspersky make sure to change drive path (default is B which temp drive ) to any of ur partition or even usb ,as it extracts about 70 MB data and B drive might go out of space. it ll alert you to activate it , just try to update it as it is . it should update fine , but just for backup i am including some kav7 keys in root>programs>kav> keys folder . you can use any of those keys , or read updates.txt in the same folder where i have explained how you can manually update it or directly download a key from a chinese source. dont forget to check screen shoots too in screens.7z . i have explained some interesting things there about AVZ and some minor updats about kaspersky . also in AVZ toolkit if autoruns or any other options which suppose to load remote registry only show u entries from X drive rather then ur OS drive then just reload the same menu again after closing it ,it will ultimately load it fine. )

( If any serial is missing , you can get them from serials.txt at the root of cd. )





cDrive Backup and install :



Driver import pe :

You can import drivers of your host OS in case u need any ,. Most probably you will need to have wlan drivers . as I have slipstreamed mass storage and Lan official driver packs in this disk ,. This software also have option to install drivers from 7z archive driver packs . But most probably your Host OS drivers should work.





Double Driver :

It is an excellent utility to back up drivers of host OS . it even has option to back as single archive .









ERD Commander 2005 ( Fully working ) :

I know it is bit old . but still this one has potential to repair a broken or faulty windows . (for server2003 ,xp ,2000)









File Management :



a 7zip ( includes shell extension )

b. Ultra ISO ( includes Mount driver )

c, win mount 3 ( Cracked by TommyTom , has shell extensions ,and can mount 7z ,rar , iso and many other format . there is no executable . when you will right click on any file ,it will show you options.



Explorers :



a.Altap salamander 2.5 ( Tr3bgod’s portable )

b. Space Monger

c. MS explorer

d. Explorer++ ( tabbed browsing )





System info :



a.Joshua’s key reader

b. Key Finder





( IMPORTENT NOTE: while booting from Live Rescue if you get BSOD with error code 7b ,then just change your hdd settings from AHCI to IDE in your mobo . you'r probably using those strange SATA drives which do have drivers in mass storage pack but does not detect it. i wish i had one of those SATA drives to solve this issue.but...)







2. Linux's Boot Manu :



It includes Parted Magic 3.6 boot disk and Dr.web live antivirus .



Parted magic has lots of disk maintainance programs and is linux based . Dr.web live antivirus cd is also linux based . both of these have multiple options to start . Dr.web also supports updating on the fly if your internet connection/driver is detected . i have personally tested it and it DOES what it says " DEFEND WHAT YOU CREATE! "





3. Hiren’s Boot cd 9.7 ( Ripped To Bone Edition ) :

The official size is around 170 MB , but I have ripped the following items to add it into this kit .



a. live xp

b. Mcafee

c. Mini windows 98

d. winTools



size now is 38 MB .



I have not edited menu entries just modified the boot loader ,as they used isolinux this time,







4.Dark’s Boot and Nuke :

A linux based utility to securely wipe your hdd.





5.FIXNTLDR :



Utility to fix corrupt ntldr issues .



6.Windows Millennium Boot disk :

It includes MBR+CMOS tools too .





7.Boot it :



It is next generation partitioning utlity , press cancel if you don’t want to use it as your boot loader and just want to partition your hdd.





8.XP recovery console(32bit) ( Tweaked edition) :



Don’t worry it is by MS itself . I know it is hard to believe but it is fact . it has a major update where xp gives error sometimes ( un mountable disk or something like this ) . then use fixboot to repair it . I don’t know why there are additional files in this one when I compared it with standard xp recovery console but im dead sure they are for some purpose . it was posted at SRN a while back and the same version is included in my previous release( intoXicator's dvd under MRI boot options) .







9. Acronis Special Boot menu :



it has custom Boot screen , two options are there.



a. Acronis True image echo enterprise 9.7.8208 + Universal Restore 9.7.8208 (full version)

b. Acronis Disk Director suite v 10 build 2169







10.Acronis Operating System Selector :



To add unbootable operating system to bootable menu . it even supports un knows operating systems. Serial key should b gives on the fly .









11. Quick Tech professional edition :



A Very good pc diagnosing tool . includes Burn-in testing .



12. Pc Check :



Another Great system diagnosing utility .





13. Spnirite 6 :



A great Utility for dealing with badly infected HDD's ( Bad sector etc ) .

every custom Boot menu or wallpaper which includes in this build belongs to my good frined Blackbalfur . he did all the stuff . iamoneofthem made boot logo of Acronis . burnabycomputer made a beautiful Boot screen for this build but i dumped the idea in the last stage . thanks to u too mate.
