Welsh singing operatic brothers, Richard and Adam Johnson, who appeared on Britain’s Got Talent release their debut album. Tenor Richard and baritone Adam, who received a standing ovation for their immaculate performance of "The Impossible Dream" on the show, said “We absolutely love singing and want to bring classical music to all ages through our voices and debut album”.

The brothers were born and bred in the small town of Holywell in North Wales and worked in their parents business as sandwich makers. Their Grandmother was an integral part of introducing Richard and Adam to classical music.

The Impossible Dream is the debut album of Welsh operatic duo Richard & Adam, who first rose to fame on the seventh series of the ITV talent show Britain's Got Talent. The official single to the album is of the same name, a cover of the original. The album is released by Sony Music Entertainment, to which the duo are signed; and is the first of two albums that they will release with their current contract. The album was officially released on 29 July 2013.

Chart performance

The album debuted at number one in the UK Albums Chart on 4 August 2013 , knocking off previous chart topper Jahméne Douglas. It also topped the Scottish Albums Chart.

The album continued selling well, and therefore topped both the UK's Official Albums Chart and the Scottish charts for a second time on the 11th August 2013
