'Rob Kidd' is the pseudonym of a team of writers working on prequels to the Pirates of the Caribbean. They originally wrote the thirteen Pirates of the Caribbean: Jack Sparrow novellas between 2006 and 2009, before continuing on to write the Pirates of the Caribbean: Legends of the Brethren Court from 2008 onwards, which are set thirteen years before Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl.



The Coming Storm:
This swaggering, stand-alone addition to the Pirates of the Caribbean series recounts the story of Jack Sparrow, a teenage stowaway on an adult mission. Jack has assembled a motley crew of adventurers to locate and seize the legendary Sword of Cort's. This scenario sounds feasible until the treasure hunters run into heavy storms and bloodthirsty pirates.

The Siren Song:

Captain Jack Sparrow’s ship, the Barnacle, and its up-till-now unshakable crew have suddenly fallen under a sinister spell. While continuing on their quest for the storied Sword of Cortés, the crew is attacked by a monstrous sea creature and then finds its shipmates entranced by an ethereal song and each of them attempts to take the Barnacle in a different direction-and away from the sword’s supposed location. Only Jack seems unaffected by the strange song, but can he both subdue his crew and defeat the mysterious force behind the dark spell?

The Pirate Chase:
Jack and company are hot on the trail of the notorious pirate Left Foot Louis, who they believe is currently in possession of the Sword of Corts. But chasing down a fierce seafarer is challenging even for Jacks formidable crew. And to top it all off, newly appointed first mate Arabella has a personal score to settle with Louis, but could jeopardize the entire mission!

The Sword of Cortés:
This is it! Jack and his crew have found the Sword of Cortés, but along with it, they've also found Cortés himself. And he's not the kind ruler they thought he'd be. Jack and his crew have defeated a storm king, escaped sirens, defeated the notorious pirate Left Foot Louis, but can they possibly conquer a conquistador with god-like powers?

The beginning of a new story arc! Jack and company are regrouping after their Sword of Cortes ordeal. They want to forget about magical power and turn their attention towards treasure. But they are about to learn that in the Caribbean magic and treasure often go hand in hand when they encounter a young sailor who can turn things to solid… bronze?

Silver:
When Tumen and Jean overhear talk of hidden silver, Jack decides that they must seek it out. It might not be gold, but it sure beats bronze. But the Silver they find is not the silver they were expecting. They’ve gotten themselves in trouble again, this time with a brutal pirate named Long John.

City of Gold:
When Jack Sparrow and his raucous crew return to New Orleans, they expect a grand time, not a jolly good fight. But then, they hadn't expected to find the city covered in metal and ruled over by the despicable Madame Minuit.
