TRAMA:

La città di Detroit è sconvolta da bande di drogati, di stupratori e assassini, e una società finanziaria (la COP) produce uno specialissimo robot corazzato, da lanciare di notte per le strade a tutela dei cittadini. Questo robot preme moltissimo al vice-presidente Jones, che comanda anche la polizia locale, poichè la sua produzione in serie si preannuncia come un gigantesco affare. Tuttavia, messo alla prova in pieno consiglio di amministrazione, il prototipo si inceppa e per errore uccide uno dei presenti. Morton, un dirigente furbo e rivale di Jones, propone Robocop, un robot avveniristico ed ultraprotetto, nel quale viene innestato il corpo mutilato dell'agente Murphy...

STORYLINE:

Detroit - in the future - is crime-ridden, and run by a massive company. The company have developed a huge crime-fighting robot, which unfortunately develops a rather dangerous glitch. The company sees a way to get back in favor with the public when a cop called Alex Murphy is killed by a street gang. Murphy's body is reconstructed within a steel shell and named RoboCop. The RoboCop is very successful against criminals, and becomes a target of supervillain Boddicker.
