Description
This film charts the rise of the Builders’ Labourers’ Federation, an Australian construction union in the 1960’s and 70’s. The union was headed by various organized Marxists and militantly fought for better wages and conditions. The BLF made history by supporting left-wing and working class campaigns including environmental, Aboriginal and women’s and gay rights with strikes and work bans that often won. A clear example of how working class power can change the world. silesia, 87 mins.
All of these films are left-wing, educational, inspiring and hard to find. So seed as much as you can and maybe you'll be helping others get active in similar struggles. Sharing Widget |
