Kabir Grewal (Arjun Rampal) who is a renowned filmmaker. Kabir is stuck with the script of his forthcoming venture which is an unusual (love) story of a robber. When he goes to Malaysia, he meets Ayesha Aamir (Jacqueline Fernandez) who turns out to be an inspiration for him to write his film. Though Ayesha and Kabir are poles apart, they eventually fall in love with each other. However, things go wrong and Kabir and Ayesha’s fairytale romance comes to an end. When Ayesha, who is his inspiration, leaves, that is when Kabir stops writing. Roy (played by Ranbir Kapoor) is the main character of Kabir’s film. The story of Roy, the classy robber, thus comes to a standstill.
