I noticed that Amazon was charging £5 per volume of Sahih Bukhari. There are no other copies of Sahih Bukhari around the net that are in a decent format suitable for use on an ereader. So I made them myself, took out the images and the rubbish advertising. So this is a stripped down version. It is for Muslims and for non-Muslims who want to learn about Islam.

This torrent contains Sahih Bukhari Volume 1 in mobi, pdf and doc. It also contains all three formats in a zip file.


About Sahih Bukhari
Sahih Bukhari is a collection of sayings, deeds and anecdotes relating to the Prophet Muhammad. It is generally accepted by Muslims to be the most authentic collection of hadith. Hadith are regarded by Muslims as an important tool for understanding the Quran.

Sahih Bukhari was put together a couple of centuries after Muhammad’s death (570-632 AD). Imam Bukhari (810-970 AD) was the Islamic scholar who researched and collected the hadith.

Sahih Bukhari is separated into 9 volumes which consist of differing numbers of books. The hadith are grouped under headings depending on what the hadith relate to. Some hadith will be repeated in areas where Imam Bukhari deemed them to be relevant.

This book was translated from Arabic to English by Muhammad Muhsin Khan. Although no words have been altered, grammatical errors have been corrected. The layout of Sahih Bukhari has also been altered so as to provide a simple viewing and learning experience.
