Four bonus tracks will be made available with select editions of Scar The Martyr‘s coming self-titled debut album. The outfit feature Slipknot‘s Joey Jordison alongside ex-members of Strapping Young Lad and Darkest Hour, among others. Roadrunner Records will have the album in stores on October 01st, with the track listing to run as follows

Joey Jordison has revealed the tracklist for the debut album from his new project Scar The Martyr.

The self-titled record is out on September 30 and features 14 tracks (plus four bonuses) including Soul Disintegration, available to hear below.

Slipknot drummer Jordison wrote all the songs along with vocalist Henry Derek Bonner of Blood Promise. They were joined in the studio by keyboardist Chriss Vrenna (Nine Inch Nails) and guitarists Jed Simon (Strapping Young Lad) and Kris Norris (Darkest Hour). The touring version of the band also features In This Moment bassist Kyle Konkiel.

Jordison recently said of the album: “I’d been working on new Slipknot material but I ended up with so much stuff I had to take a step back and stop working on it – the time wasn’t right.

“I came up with a bunch of material that was really killer and heavy, and started taking some of it in a different direction. I started focusing on a lot of the post-punk and industrial stuff that I’ve always loved. That’s how it started.

“It’s taken me a couple of years to get to this point, but I can honestly say this is the most satisfied I’ve ever been in the studio. I can’t wait for everyone to hear this shit.”
