HEVC codec is really good. I don't know how they get better quality and a smaller file than regular 480p videos. Gotta be some sort of wizardry.

use Decent encoder like Handbrake

Secret is the settings/config which IMO comes after a lot of trial n error & unique for each type like animation/movie etc..

We should appreciate PSA coz HEVC/x265 takes a lot of time to encode unlike x264 :)
