Seasons Change

Hi, everyone. My name is Alex Sarmiento, and I'm a writer originally from San Francisco, CA. I currently live in Fairfield, about 45 minutes away. This is the first time I've ever uploaded a torrent. It's the manuscript for my first novel, "Seasons Change: How I Destroyed My Family and Saved My Life". It's a novel in the style of a memoir, which is what I like to call it for lack of a more descriptive phrase.

It's the story of a young man who, after years of physical and emotional abuse from his family, attempts to rebuild his life. The clouds from his past are never far away, though, and they soon threaten to ruin everything and everyone he holds dear.

I began this book in 2009, and completed it in 2012. But it's been a difficult journey since then. Finding an agent or a publisher has proven difficult, despite my best efforts. I also can't afford to self-publish. As writing is my only marketable skill and the only thing that I know how to do and do well (even though I've recently begun to doubt my abilities), it's ridiculous that I haven't been as successful as I would have liked. Which is why I've decided to share my novel with the world. I've even included a cover page, which is not only a way for people to contact me, but an assurance that what you're getting is original material.

The manuscript is over 300 pages long, and both the manuscript and cover page are in PDF format. I hope you like it. Thanks, and please seed them for as long as you can.
