In the spirit of Sharknado, here are the first 3 movies and 47 others that are similar, like the wonderfully named “Stonados” and “Frankenfish”. But wait, you also get 4 creatures for the price of one movie in “Sharktopus vs. Pteracuda”, as well as many other abominations of nature.

If these movies are too lowbrow for your sophisticated palette, instead of complaining please just move on and download something else. However, if you could just put your mind in neutral awhile, suspend some disbelief and ignore some ratings, as well as my incompetence, you might just find that you actually enjoy some of this nonsense. Some of the movies actually have good stories, and as with all that exists, each movie has it's pros and cons. Besides, what's not to like about a scantily clad Carmen Electra? Other notables include David Carradine and Samuel L. Jackson. (But I'm not sure if Samuel L. Jackson counts, since he's been in every movie ever made since 1995.)

Here's a list of some goals I had while making this collection. I hope this fits in with your needs:
1) Start with HD source material as much as possible. This means large file sizes, hopefully from BD.
2) Reduce file sizes to around 725 MB. A little more or less is okay.
3) Don't upscale anything. There are a couple of exceptions.
4) Delete subtitles and movies with hard coded subs. Words R stoopid, and subs bug me. Deal with it.
5) Delete non-English and surround audio. Dubs bug me. Deal with it.
6) Change file names to include good stuff and exclude the not so good.
7) Encode for universal compatibility as much as possible within reason. These movies should play on new and old devices, including Apple products. (Please note that I said “old”, and not “ancient”.) In addition to other stuff, this means mp4, level 3 h264 and aac. These settings weren't my first choice, but I'm here for the people and I'm here to help. We live in a society (look it up), and we gotta do what we can.

All these movies were originally uploaded by someone else. The sources were various. Thank you to those people. There were several movies that I couldn't get in HD. 20 of the 50 movies are 720p, including the Sharknado trilogy. The rest vary and are lower resolution. See file names for more info. NR in some file names means the movie is not rated by the MPAA. Several of these also have the SyFi watermark throughout.

As usual, please seed this to at least a ratio of 1, more if you can. (A ratio of 1 means you give what you get. Seems fair.) I try for a ratio of 5 or more, especially if there aren't many peers. High ratios help you too. Also as usual, if you like this material, please consider buying it from the legal owners. They worked hard so they wouldn't have to sell their kids for scientific experiments and stuff.

Here's some advice for beginners (mostly):
1) If this or any torrent is too large for you, try adjusting your options or preferences in your torrent client. It's possible to pick and choose only certain files to download. (In uTorrent click Options, Preferences, UI Settings, then check the box "Show options to change the name and location of the torrent data"). It's nice if you can consider the author's wishes though, and keep the torrent as originally published whenever it's not too much trouble.
2) Upscaling a 480p video to 720p gives you a 720p video, with a larger file size and the quality of a 480p video. Please stop. Or at least please stop the false advertising.
3) No matter what you are using the internet for, I recommend protecting yourself as much as possible. One of many ways of doing so is to use a VPN (virtual private network). I'm very satisfied with CyberGhost (http://www.cyberghostvpn.com), and I'm very unsatisfied with HideMyAss (https://www.hidemyass.com). Both are popular and convenient. I've tried the pay versions of both, and they both have free stuff, which is of course better than no stuff.
4) If you are having trouble playing any of the movies in this torrent, you can try a different media player or try simply renaming the file from an mp4 to an m4v extension. This won't hurt anything, and you can change back at your leisure. (If you're still apprehensive, of course you could make a copy first.) All of these movies were tested in VLC Media player (http://www.videolan.org/vlc).
5) Read. Research. Be careful. Be nice.
