The Trees Are Dead & Dried Out Wait for Something Wild is the debut album from SikTh, released in August 2003 by Unparalleled Records. The Japanese re-release in 2004 includes two bonus tracks, Wrathchild and Suffice.

Guttural throaty vocals mixed with harmonised melodies, viciously rhythmic drumming which instantly metamorphosises into elaborate percussion, and haunting atmospheric piano interludes which sit superbly between slices of metal brutality. SikTh is an incredibly hard band to label, and I encourage any metal fans to give them a listen.
