This isn't 60fps. :(
First I was like "wooh" 60fps 1080p high bitraite and after the download i was sad. Fake 60fps (it's 25x2). Quality is correct but you can do better with lower bitrate cause damn 2gigs !
Yup, it's the wrong way to do it. Silicon valley is broadcasted by HBO in 1080i@29.97, but the show is actually running at 23.976 fps.
To match NTCS criterias, broadcasters apply a 3:2 pulldown on the original film "increasing" the framerate to 29.97 by adding interlaced frames.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Three-two_pull_down

When converting back from 29.97i to 23.976p, you need to inverse telecine by decimating the interlaced frames.

TL;DR : no matter the release and encode settings, you won't get more than actual 24fps for any show at the moment.
leejin-
Can you tell me (cuz I am a noob about the tech aspects of this stuff):
1. what the difference between the 10K and 6K versions of this episode are? The framerate seems super high. Is that going to make a big difference to me? Don't know if my bluray player can handle that or if it makes a difference.
2. why you decided to encode in 2.0 instead of 5.1... and
3. what the difference is between x264 and x265?

Thanks...like I said, I'm a newbie...
I'm still learning and experimenting too. Its difficult to answer briefly. All variables modify the size versus quality. x265 is the newest compression method that further reduces size without typical quality loss in x264. The same is true by using 2.0 versus 5.1 for audio and varying the bitrate 6K vs 10K. Deinterlacing upconversion to 60fps. Just as important as compression technique is what video player the downloader intends to use and what video codecs one has to best present the compressed video. I use computer video players VLC or MPC, which handle just about everything. Not sure what specifications your BluRay player/TV/Monitor can handle and play well. Lots of experimenting with different specifications with whatever set up you may have.
What do think about the suggestion, to add information about the Audio in the Torrent Name?
You Add two for the video (1080p 10K).
