When I Take My Sugar to Tea (studio chatter + alternate take) [December 21] Excerpts of sessions for the album RING-A-DING-DING, with the usual assortment of alternate takes, incomplete takes, false starts, session chatter, etc. One notable inclusion is the brief attempt at "Have You Met Miss Jones?" Sinatra can be heard expressing the opinion that the arrangement doesn't fit the mood of the album, and the track was soon abandoned. (A completely different Billy May arrangement of the song, lacking the opening verse, was subsequently issued on the Reprise album SINATRA SWINGS a.k.a. SWING ALONG WITH ME.) There are several versions of RING-A-DING-DING sessions out there. Of the two I've heard, this one is the better sounding, although there's a bit of tape hiss. I don't have any artwork for this one.
