While exploring a newly-discovered nebula, the mysterious space creature known as Snails receives a garbled distress call from his home planet, Slugcity. The few words he can make out amidst the broken audio speak of an attack by mercenary space pirates hired by the evil Dr Kannibalen. Fearing the worst, he calls out to his friends, Black Tiger Sex Machine, to help him rescue his home. After joining up on the outskirts of the Slugcity system, they devise a new technique/weapon to devastate their enemies in the coming battle: the Shockwave, a tremendous pulse of low-frequency noise that destroys whatever it hits.

Shockwave is an out-of-this-world collaboration between trap master Snails and electro trio Black Tiger Sex Machine. Both parties have brought their respective strengths to the table in this irresistible jam. Always keen to innovate, Snails has crafted a dizzying bass drop of pitched out microsamples intercut with growlicious stabs. Combined with some upbeat synth progressions from BTSM, the result is an overpowering whirlwind of dance floor obliteration.
