Soft Machine - Third (2013 Japan Blu-Spec CD2) [FLAC] (Size: 755.31 MB)
DescriptionThis is the 2013 Blu-Spec CD2 release of Soft Machine's third studio album promptly named, "Third", originally released in 1970. Often referred to as Soft Machine's masterpiece (and rightfully so), this epic pushed the limits of Jazz-Rock, became a definitive template of the so-called "Canterbury Scene", and in my opinion, is one of the greatest albums of all-time. Though Soft Machine's debut will always be my personal favorite Soft Machine album, I wont deny that this album is leagues better in respect to the former. This was also a very unfortunate time for Robert, since he began to feel very alienated from the band and eventually parted ways with them after 1971's "Fourth" album. Luckily we'd see Wyatt's own band, Matching Mole" come to fruition and then his amazing solo career soon afterwards as well. P.S. This release came with the main booklet in Japanese, So I've also included the English booklet from the SICP 30162-3 release, which originally came from "ruskaval".
