On his way to Jerusalem, -in what it would be his last journey as a legally free man- St Paul was warned by the Holy Spirit a number of times not to proceed.

He pushed on with his plans of meeting James, the Lord’s Brother, who had become the leader of the Christian ‘Hebrew’ Church in Jerusalem.

That meeting ultimately led Paul to compromise in Jerusalem the truth Jesus had taught him and that he had taught in his previous letters to the ‘Greek and Gentile’ churches in western Asia. It also marked the beginning of Paul's imprisonment and eventual death in prison only a few shorts years after.
