No alterations have been made. Broadcast TV and home VHS copies contained several differences from these home DVD releases though not many. Biggest difference is Series III. When broadcast on TV or sold on VHS, Series III used the Series II method of cropping/freeze frame to eliminate the Japanese captions. When the DVD remaster was made it was decided to expose the Japanese captions. Always good to have the originals handy in your collection for archival purposes. Sharing Widget |
