Star Ocean: The Second Story (Suta Oshan Sekando Sutori) is the second game in the Star Ocean series. Chronologically, It takes place in S.D. 366, twenty years after the original game, Star Ocean: Fantastic Space Odyssey, which has only released in English in the remake Star Ocean: First Departure. The game gives the player the choice of playing as Rena Lanford or Claude C. Kenny, with the journey evolving and ending differently depending on the choices one makes.
Released in the United States and Europe, translated to English, it gained a massive following. The PlayStation Portable remake was announced prior to the 2007 Square Enix Party event.

This game has sold 1,094,000 copies, 724,000 in Japan and 370,000 overseas.

Burn CDR discs tips:

This game, just like many other PSOne games, was perfectly ripped
So what we have here:

- .img file
- .sub file
- .cue file
- .ccd file

I recommend using CloneCD

so..

Burning
1. Open up Clone cd
2. Click on burn
3. Open the image file
4. Check the box that says "read sub channel data from data tracks"
5. Check the box that says "read sub channel data from audio tracks"
6. Check the top two boxes as mentioned earlier
7. Click burn

Number 4 and 5 if you can't find, click on the menu - edit.

please note that only supported burners can use this method with clone cd


***Burning using other software*****
Tutorial by "Dup"

"1. Insert a blank CD in your CD/DVD burner

2. Open Alcohol 120%

3. Click on Burning Wizard on the left menu

4. In the burning wizard windows, click the browse button, then select your image, if it got a .ccd then select this file, if not then select the .cue file or the last option select the .iso/.nrg file. Once selected click Next.

5. Now in the burning setting windows. Select you CD burner from the drop list then select the slowest burning speed available.(you must select the slowest speed, this is not an option, YOU MUST BURN at 4x and even 2x if possible)

6. In the data type menu (at the bottom of the windows), select Play Station, then click start!

7. Wait for the burning to end(Drink a beer, get laid or go watch some porn)

8. Once finished, you pick your cd and put it in you PSX then test!
to check if your burner is clone cd compatible."

In that case, open and chose 'burn image to CD' and then choose the .ccd file
