Star Wars - John Williams 1980 BBC Documentary making of Empire Strikes Back (Size: 575.92 MB)
Description
Rare BBC documentary which has never been repeated or officially released. Witness John Williams composing the legendary score for The Empire Strikes Back and conducting the London Symphony Orchestra. Not to be missed by Star Wars or John Williams fans. This is a fantastic rare documentary featuring John Williams during his scoring of 'The Empire Strikes Back' (1979-1980). The film also includes footage from 'Close Encounters Of The Third Kind', 'Superman', 'Towering Inferno' and others! This documentary is incredibly interesting and unlike any I've seen about John Williams or the Star Wars films. The rare footage of Williams, Lucas and Kurtz working on The Empire Strikes Back, sitting with the editor, watching footage on a 35mm flatbed machine, is just remarkable. Quality 6-7 out of 10 - really old documentary. Sharing Widget |
