This plays great on my laptop. But i can't seem to get it to work on PS3 media server or TVersity,always get error that media is not supported. Anyway i can fix this?

Sadly, it can't be done as it's encoded using the new x265 codec, and PS3 doesn't support that. I think not even PS4 has it (I hope they will add it in the next slim version).

Your problem is the player that outputs the files on the TV. PS3 (afaik) doesn't have support for this new codec, and I doubt it would be added. Probably it could be added on PS4 as a software player but I don't know how that works. The episodes encoded on Netflix are using x264, the older codec, and a lot of players have support for that via hardware players. But the size is way bigger than the one of the x265 files.

From what I read, these work on smartphones, so Chromecast or some similar thing that gets connected to the TV might be able to work.

I watch them on TV, but trough PC that it's connected to it.

Regarding SW Rebels, this is being done by PSA, and the quality is pretty good (I think they use CRF 25, while I used 24 for my encodes).
