Prosecution begins for Ahsoka in the High Courts, as the Jedi Council elects to expel her from the Jedi Order. As Padmé fights to prove Ahsoka's innocence, Anakin interrogates Ventress, who informs him that Barriss Offee had made contact with Ahsoka and given them the location of an arms cache. Confronting her, Anakin learns that the disillusioned Barriss was the true mastermind behind the terrorist plot. As such, after a brief duel, Barriss is subdued and captured, and Ahsoka is acquitted on all accounts. But when the Jedi Council offers to re-instate her as a Jedi, Ahsoka, feeling that she can no longer trust anyone, let alone herself, refuses and leaves the Temple, as a saddened Anakin watches.
